Used this app while visiting Maui and drove the road to Hana. Definitely worth it!!

We used the North Shore tour which started at Ko’Olina and enjoyed it so much! The music, the directions, the stops were great! We would have missed some great stops. We spent 6-7 hours with the tour and didn’t come close to finishing! Well worth the price!

We used this app for three different tours of the island and enjoyed every one of them! The information was great and we never would have experienced the island the same way without paying hundreds of dollars on bus tours. I highly recommend if you are renting a car and want to see all the different areas, especially the backyard rainforest. Worth the money!

We rented a car and got so much out of the experience with the audio tour. It was entertaining, easy to follow, and very informative. It’s the perfect thing if you want to learn and have a heightened experience. Very well done!

We enjoyed the Grand Circle Tour of the Island. We did this tour on Christmas Day, so a few places were closed, but we managed to see so much! The beaches and parks were breathtaking, especially Sunset Beach on the North Shore. We loved all the fresh fruit along the way, and especially enjoyed our pineapple mango smoothies! The app gave us a good bit of history about the Native Hawaiians and their land. I highly recommend this app!

Loved the self guided Maui tour bundle! Mostly used it for Road to Hana but also on West Maui a bit. The narrator is a little corny at times but I loved the way it was structured. Specifically I liked the reasonable number of recommendations along the tour route, with pointers on local spots to avoid to respect the local residents’ privacy. The history of Hawaii and Maui were the most valuable in my opinion to someone who doesn’t know the history. And the traditional Hawaii background music between stops/historical facts was the cherry on top. I’ll be looking to use this app for other vacations too!

We’ve used Shaka guide for both Big Island and Maui and love the experience, narration and ease of use. Even with no cell service we were able to listen, learn and experience things we would’ve otherwise missed.

We used this for our Maui trip and did the tour for the reverse road to Hana, the national park, and to drive around the island in general. Having grown up on Oahu I knew some of the history but hearing it told where it happened and been more in depth was amazing. Add in the perfect GPS coordinated directions and food recipes and we couldn’t have asked for a better trip. Mahalo!
