So glad I used this on my Road to Hana drive! Even my skeptical husband was happy I purchased it in the end. Be sure to download in advance and it will work great for the whole trip. We never would have known about many of the stops and enjoyed the history and music. Highly recommended!

It was a very enjoyable trip with a lot of information, tips, and good music to accompany us on our tour. Without this app it would have probably seemed a lot longer and we would not have known the history. I highly recommend for your trip(s).

We used the Shaka app’s road to Hana tour and totally loved it! The narrator is entertaining and funny, we all laughed multiple times because of his humor. The where also multiple “Oh wow’s” from the historical stories he told. We will definitely use this app again!!

Omg! What a wonderful app this is! We were vacationing in Oahu, Hawaii and wanted to see the North Shore. We had a car but we needed a tour guide! Well, Shaka Guide App was the solution! We had a wonderful 6 hour ride around the island. The app told us a lot about the History of Hawaii, its crops, its culture, and the Hawaiian ways! Aloha! Choose Shaka Guide and you won’t regret it!

Used Shaka Guide to drive to Hana. Amazing! Accurate driving directions, history, funny stories, Hawaiian music, recommendations for dining and snacking, keep you to a time frame in case you don't have unlimited time available. We picked up breakfast and lunch, were guided to restrooms along the way, and were treated to stunning scenery and historical spots as we drove. Wow. Just... wow. Even if you stop or take a slight detour off the route, as soon as you get back on the designated route, the guide (who is absolutely incredible!) picks right back up. This tour is worth every cent you pay. We have now taken 4 of their Hawaii tours, and each one is stunning, enjoyable and fun! The app works - how, I don't know 'cause I'm not a techie ☹️ - like a charm. It's actually quite... magical 😁 A+++++

While on Maui, my wife and I enjoyed all the tours, the stories, the music and together with our Shaka tour guide, we made it around Maui and enjoyed every minute. We cannot wait to tour other islands with Shaka.

Been using Shaka guides for years going back to road to Hana on tape with Craig "you can turn me on.... " which had some of the best recommendations for the trip. Recently had a problem with my subscription and sent them an email. They responded in about 15 minutes with how I could fix it in the app but then they said it would be easier for me if they just fixed it on their end which they did. Next time I opened the app it was solved. Best customer service ever :)
