Had high expectations for this app. I have been using it for the last two days and it has been extremely disappointing. When I used to Knapp for a different company while I was driving, new stories would pop up in helpful information not with this app. We are the opportunity to go all over the island yet this app doesn’t cover large areas. It has become the joke of the trip and after two days I have to delete it.

This made the road to Hana incredibly easy. This would’ve been very difficult to do without the Shaka Guide GPS guidance. My husband and I joked all day long that it was the best $25 to spend. Otherwise we would’ve been stressed about where we needed to go, and which stops to skip, resulting in fights. Shaka is cheaper than marriage counseling or divorce.

We really enjoyed the Oahu Circle Island tour. Very informative, entertaining and accurate. The only recommendation that we have is allowing a little more notice when you have to get on/off of highways. A couple times the instructions say to exit in a quarter mile. That’s not much time if you’re not in the correct lane with heavy traffic. Otherwise this is a fantastic trip and would highly recommend.

This was such an inexpensive, VERY informative and great tour we have taken at our own pace! Loved every bit of it! You can pause it, play it at any time and will adjust to your location. Love the history, stories and music provided, packing list, which places charge an entry fee and how much…they do it all for you in just one app! And you keep it forever!

Seems, someone is seated next to you and explain everything you need routes/places/history/etc. There is no need for pre planning. Recently I bought Yellowstone &Teton pack and in two days we have covered most of the places. Thanks Shaka team

We couldn’t have done the Hāna highway without this guide! We learned so much by stopping where the app recommended and listening to the fun facts on the way back out. Our phones were without service from the beginning of the journey & we had no issues with finding cool stops/food on the way using Shaka (be sure to bring a charger with you!)

We enjoyed this tour so much. It was entertaining and easy to follow. We loved all the stories and sights. Family of 5.
