We have used Shaka Guides now on three Hawaiian Islands, Utah and Colorado. It is always reliable and we feel fortunate to use it as a tool for trip planning and a guide to some of the most amazing scenic views available on earth. We toured the National Volcanoes park in Hawaii and would’ve been completely lost without this app. Let’s you go at your own pace and picks up where you left off. Easy to skip ahead and follows where you’re at. We truly enjoyed the legends and the informative narration was excellent. Highly recommend

Awesome guide for all the islands. Easy, informative and very reasonably priced

For those that like to control the pace of their touring and pick the things that most interest them this guide is awesome. The step-by-step directions are extremely detailed and accurate and the narration along the drives is interesting. The guides also take you to the must see attractions as well as things that are off the beaten path. You can pick and choose what stops you want to make based on your interest. The app provides a good overview of each stop so you can decide if it is worth your time. The app guides you based on GPS location. It’s as good as Google maps or Apple Maps.

We really enjoyed the fun stories and the directions were perfect, we found every spot with no difficulty. Very enjoyable!

The full loop Road to Hana is one of the best things we’ve ever done on any vacation. And the Shaka App is an absolute must. Entertaining, informative, great stories, nice Hawaiian music playing between waypoints. I cannot say enough good things about this app. It is just phenomenal. Also, don’t let anyone scare you out of doing the full loop. If you have a jeep or 4WD vehicle, are patient and courteous to local drivers, and just respect local requests (no parking, no trespassing, etc) it is not a bad drive, and by skipping it you will miss out on some truly breathtaking places in Maui.
