iOS users can use the Shaka Guide app with Apple CarPlay. With Apple CarPlay, they would be able to see the app - the map and tour information - on their Apple CarPlay screen.

To set up the app with Apple CarPlay, follow these steps

1. Start your car and open your Apple CarPlay device.
2. Pair your phone with your Apple CarPlay device via Bluetooth or connect your phone using a USB cable
3. Open the Shaka Guide app ON THE APPLE CARPLAY screen

** if you are unable to see the apps on your phone on your Apple CarPlay screen, disconnect and resync your phone and your Apple CarPlay Device.
You may also need to turn off and restart both your phone and your car.

4. Go to the My Stuff section on the app. 
5. Make sure your tour is downloaded.

IMPORTANT! 

If you're planning to use your Shaka Guide tour with Apple CarPlay or play the tour audio through your car stereo speakers, make sure you're using your phone's DATA CABLE and NOT just a USB charging cable compatible with your device.
