The park is open 24 hours a day but the visitor center is open during these times:
- April - September - 7:30 am to 6:00 pm
- October - early November - 8am-6pm
- December - March - 9:00 am to 4:00 pm
Yes! Feel free to join the tour along the route. Just make sure that you follow the numbers in chronological order from where you are starting from. If you don’t begin at one of the tour starting points you’ll miss a few stories, but you’ll still have a great experience.
Yes, this tour has a Classic and Reverse option. In the Classic version, you’ll start just outside the park’s entrance and make stops along the scenic drive. The Reverse option also starts outside the park, but you’ll drive all the way to the end of the scenic drive and make stops on your way back! The stops on both tours are the same.
