We used the self guide thru Death Valley and found the setup easy once I found out I had to download this app ( I guess I purchased on a different website and the directions they provided weren't clear). I called Shaka but it was only like 5am in Hawaii, I didn't leave a message because we were already on our way but someone actually called me back with still enough time to get it all set up before lossing service! The stories were great. I was very impressed & will use again for Grand Canyon.

Love Shaka Guide since using in Moab last year. Recent Death Valley guide is awesome except for some minor but annoying audio glitches and skips. Would be 5 star without the glitches.

We’ve used the Shaka Guide twice now. First was for the Road to a Hana. It was such a pleasant experience. So much, in fact that recently when we went to Death Valley National Park, we remembered this app and checked to see if there was a tour and there was!! We immediately downloaded the app again and bought the tour. The tours makes travel so so easy. We went to Death Valley with no plans and no idea of where to go. Uncle Shaka took us on a journey. He told us the history behind the different areas we visited, where the next rest stops were, and music was played to fill in the gaps! I cannot imagine going on future vacations without this app. Truly. They do all the work for you, and make it so fun! We’re actually going to start referring to the app tours first when considering where to visit next. 100% am grateful to the amazing people that make this app possible. Thank you so much for what you guys do!!
