Cassidy Arch trail is a strenuous 1.7-mile hike each way beginning at the end of Grand Wash spur road that climbs 670 feet up the canyon wall. The trail starts out steep and climbs most of that distance early before leveling out. At the end, you’re greeted by the famous Cassidy Arch, a natural stone arch named for the man himself, Butch Cassidy, who is rumored to have hidden there from the law.Cassidy Arch trail is a strenuous 1.7-mile hike each way beginning at the end of Grand Wash spur road that climbs 670 feet up the canyon wall.
