About The Tour

The Shaka Guide Freedom Trail Tour in Boston, Massachusetts, literally walks you through the historic events that led up to the American Revolution and our country’s ultimate freedom from British rule. The Freedom Trail is the birthplace of American liberty and is also historic in many other ways. Along this tour, you’ll meet the patriots who rose to the challenge — ordinary people who succeeded under extraordinary circumstances to fight for the freedom we know today.

Here are just a few of the fun things you can do on the tour!

• Stroll through Boston Common, America’s oldest public park with rich history.
• Visit the Massachusetts State House for its golden dome and historic significance.
• Explore Granary Burying Ground, the resting place of famous Revolutionary figures.
• See King’s Chapel and Burying Ground, home to Boston’s oldest graves.
• Stop by Old South Meeting House, where colonists planned the Boston Tea Party.

Made our visits to National Parks the best ever

  • Fabulous guide!

We have used the the Shaka Guide at four national parks and each time the guide helped illuminate and navigate each park making the day we spent in the parks some of our best vacation days ever. It can be hard to plan a trip without a lot of research and local expert knowledge but with the Shaka guide you don’t need either. The music is great too. Not too much, not too little of either the guide talking or the music playing.
