From the parking lot, you'll take a wide path (an old road, actually) down to the grove of a couple dozen sequoia trees. You'll come back up the same way, about 500 feet of elevation gain. All told, this is a moderate hike, 2.5 miles, or 4 km, round-trip. Expect to spend 1 to 2 hours here.
